Question M.2 NVMe SDD "Performing way below expectations" ?

Basically I was wondering if anyone had any advice on fixing performance issues on M.2 drive. After several tests it is still saying on userbenchmark "Performing way below expectations", see here: test1

here is the actual brand/M.2 without the cooling cover from the motherboard on top of it: M.2

any tips to improve performance, or is inland just known to be an underperforming brand ?

You get lower benchmarks on OS drive because windows is reading/writing to it all the time.
If you had windows installed on a different drive, then benchmark numbers would be higher.

Run CrystalDiskmark, and post a screencap of the results here.

must be pcie speed configuration related to your setting in bios,

make sure you run that pcie m2_1 on gen 4 or maybe gen 3. not auto.

See how it changed the speed.

Download CrystalDiskInfo, check what it says under 'Transfer Mode'. It should have current mode and supported, it sounds like it might not be set correctly.
