[SOLVED] M.2 nvme SSD not detected by motherboard bios

Specs
CPU: Intel i5 11400F
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650 super OC
SSD: Samsung 970 EVO plus nvme
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z590I Aorus Ultra

Just finished building my first computer but the SSD is not detected in both the BIOS or Windows 10 install launch. I've double checked the BIOS settings and SATA mode is set on AHCI and CSM is disabled. I've updated the BIOS and took out the SSD and plugged it back in but it still is not showing up.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Are you sure, cpu is i5-11400F ?
Because with 10th gen cpu - like i5-10400F for example - one M.2 slot on your board would be unavailable.

Yes, I am aware of that and it is an 11th gen.

So I plugged it into the other slot and it worked. I then plugged it back into the original slot and it works. I must've not pushed hard enough. Thank you both for your help!
