Ive bought a GAMMIX S11 Pro SSD with NVMe PCIe 3.0 and what not. Connected it to my laptop acer nitro 5 AN515-51 (yes it is compatible with it as you will see down) but it didnt show up in disk management nor BIOS.

Ive done some research and Ive found that if I change my BIOS setting from UEFI to LEGACY it will in fact show my SSD in boot options (but obviously the system wont boot in legacy).

And also Ive found that my SSD is shown in device management (not disk management). And thats its "working". If i try to look into its details in volume column (the third option) it tells me that there is no information about it.

So guys, I have no idea. Ive searched so many posts and theres seemingly nobody with this type of problem.

I presume that it might be some problem with software since the pc recognizes its connected at least from legacy BIOS and device management but thats about as much as i can do with it.

The drive is probably formatted for MBR and that explains why it shows up in legacy. If you convert it to GPT format then you can use UEFI to Boot
