I recently installed Crucial P3 2280 M.2 NVMe 512GB SSD which has an expected speed of above 3000 Mb/s
I am using Dell Inspiron 15 series 5570 which has PCIe 3x4 Interface I am sharing the benchmark details

After running benchmarks, I observed it's giving a speed of reading 1800 Mb/s and writing 1654mb/s around
I have confirmed with my BIOS settings which are running on AHCI mode, and the BIOS version is also up to date.

Please suggest to me any solution what I should do to use its full performance to this issue It Will be Helpful......
Thank You.

leads to this answer -

Yes, Samsung Magician confirms you have 4 lanes (that's what the "x4" means), but if you're still limited to 1.8 GB/s, they're running in GT2 mode rather than GT4. As I said, theoretically this could be changed with a firmware update, but since it hasn't happened on other systems either after a few years, I wouldn't expect it to happen here. Sorry there isn't a better answer!

its how Dell have set up the laptop. it runs the ssd in low power mode instead of high performance and cuts the max speed in half. You are going as fast as it will let you.
