I have just got my M.2 NVMe SSD up and running on my X58 system not so long a go, but that made me think of raid 0 aswell.

Have any one tryed out raid 0 with two M.2 NVMe SSD on a X58 system?

You can probably do it with Windows striping in disk manager but that's it, and there will be very little to no real world performance benefit by doing so. In fact you're technically doubling your chance of disk failure & data loss by doing so. However, if you just want the sum of the storage of both SSDs to combine as one drive in windows you could go for it. Give it a shot; why not.

I know the risk with raid 0 since i have run raid before but on sata. So what you are saying is that i can only do software raid with no boot then?
