Hi guys!

I just installed my newly bought Crucial P1 1000GB M.2 NVMe SSD with the PCIe x16 adapter like this and, unfortunately, my motherboard is unable to detect it.

Motherboard: MSI X99A Raider

Motherboard's M.2 slot is currently occupied with another Crucial mx300 275GB SSD (in which I have my Windows installed).

I tried to install P1 into motherboard's M.2 slot and it worked fine but I wish to have P1 installed together with the adapter into one of the PCIEs slots.

Wel it wouldn’t be a bootable option I don’t think. Have you installed the driver for it and checked in windows or are you just going off bios?
Thanks for the reply, bmockeg! I expect to use it as a regular additional drive. I don't think it requires any drivers at all, at least I can't find anything regarding that. I am using JEYI NVME M.2 adapter which should be completely compatible with the SSD I am using. Am I missing something?
