Right so I'm looking at building a new pc, the mobo I'm looking at is the msi x370 pro carbon, this has 2 m.2 slot so I was wondering could I just get two, 1tb m.2 and just use that for my whole system or should I get some ssd's as well. I have the money for both options so I'm happy to hear everyone's suggestions.( I'm not gonna be getting any hdd as I'm not keeping the hard drive cage in my case hence going for either only m.2 storage or m.2 with ssd.

Well assuming you want an NVME M.2 drive. NVME drives can be quite expensive, you would likly get more storage for your money if you got a smaller m.2 drive and a sata ssd. I actually have a 500gb samsung 960 evo, a 250gb crucial m500 sata ssd, and some old 120gb samsung sata 2 ssd. That works great for me, the difference in load times is not that big between my 960 evo and m500.
