M.2 or Optane with HDD

Hey guy I am new to this fourm and new to pc building I just get new build pc to boot yesterday with I7 8700K single stick 16g 3000mhz asrock z370 pro4 2TB seagate HDD and 500w PSU
I just need a suggestion & recommendation on using m.2 as boot drive or stick with my 2tb hard drive with Intel optane memory
Because yesterday the boot time was not so good and took too long to startup property

I’d pass on Optane and get a 250gb ssd for Windows and a couple of games that need to load fast.
