Question M.2 Over PCIe Card not found

Hello,
This is the first ever time I am posting here so bare with me ;)

Problem:
I bought my self this PCI Card and put an M.2 SSD into it. Neither the PCI device nor the Storage medium is recognized by my Motherboard or my Operating System

Relevant Specs:
Motherboard: PRIME B450-PLUS
Firmware version: 3802 (Updated today)
OS: Pop_OS! but also booted into a Win10 drive and a Gentoo Partition
It's in the Second PCI slot

Additional Info:
The Board has a green LED light for each slot that is occupied and "working", that light works and is moving between LEDs when I try different slots
The drive is getting warm, when I touch it, it has the expected warmth of an m.2 drive that is getting current.
I changed by bios settings in accordance to their recommendations on the Amazon link.

Terminal Output for relevant commands (the drive is 500gb):

i done see anywhere mentioning which m2 ssd you put into it and where it is mounted on that pcie splitter card?
I am sorry the M.2 is an ebay buy
it's an Samsung PM981 512GB MZVLB512HAJQ

I put it in slot 1 and tested everything, currently it's in 2 and I tested 4. Not that It makes sense I just wanted to make sure that it might not be a damaged port.

Please list full specs of your system
And show a photo of your system with side panel removed.

M.2 PCIE adapter card requires full x16 connectivity. You can put it in PCIE X16_1 slot only.
Put graphics card in second slot PCIE_X16_2.

If you're using cpu with integrated graphics, then PCIE_x16_1 slot works in x8 mode.
You can install only two M.2 drives in your adapter card. Remaining two M.2 slots on card will not be available.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (12) @ 3.600GHz
GPU: XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600
RAM: 16GB Corsaire, Don't remember the specific model but I doubt that matters.
Mobo: PRIME B450-PLUS
There are like 4 Drives inside as the lsblk revealed 1T EVO 850 from Samsung SSD a 1TB Segate HDD, an HDD from a Macbook pro, a small M.2SSD which I don't remember the manufacturer off its the one for my OS it'S 116gb
Powersupply is a EVGA 700B.
A couple of Noctua fans.

This should be it

Don't make fun of the cable management the PSU isn't modular and the case has no space for it.

Maybe lookie here for moar info:

Already did, and also looked at https://www.asus.com/support/FAQ/1037507/ which tells me that at least on slot 1 there is Bifurcation. But let's just assume there isn't, and my board can't do that. It should (please correct me if I am wrong) just recognize the card as a 1x4 card and load the first SSD (which it doesn't) and just never recognize any after slot one.

yup, without bifurcation only first ssd would work

is your ssd working?

how can sata have 3000MB read speed?
anyway your search engine is broken..all searches shows nvme, even samsung shows it, even your data sheet o_O

I tried the same thing he is doing .
My drive was a 256g micron drive. A gift.
Purchased a NVME drive adapter . no joy.
Researched a bit and purchased the adapter I linked to .
Installed it in the SATA slot, hooked up a SATA cable to motherboards SATA connecter.
Machine booted and installed windows on it. This was on a ASUS M5A97 motherboard.
I know his is a different drive, and my quick google search could be wrong. But that was my experience with the Micron drive.
