ASRock Fatal1ty X99m Kiler
Intel i7-5820k
MSI GTX 970
G.Skills Ripjaws 2x8gb RAM
Windows 8.1
Plextor m6e 128GB M.2 PCIe 2x2....
so i bought this stick thinking I was going to be moving at PCIe 2x2 speeds of 10Gb/s... but HWinfo reports i'm doing SATA3 speeds of 6Gb/s?
I'm aware of conflicts with m.2 and PCIe cards when using 28-lane cpus like mine, but I only have one x16 card installed in the first slot (GTX 970), my m.2 has plenty of headroom no? The Plextor POST message (very annoying btw) recognises the m.2 ssd as "PCIe 2 x 2", but hardware monitors in Windows tell me SATA3 6Gb/s, what gives?
