Question M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD

I took this card out of my old computer where it was my C drive, thinking I could get some info off of it. I bought an external enclosure for it and it shows up in device manager but no where else. Is it not possible to use this as an external drive as is

Does it show in admin tools/computer mngmt/storage/disk mngmt, where it might be initially formatted?

Yes it shows up as not initialized. If I initialize it I lose everything on it but how well can I recover it with something like easus
