Question M.2 samsung unable to see drive and installed another one just to test, and thats working.

I bought a new m.2 ssd that works perfectly, but on the other hand, I have an older M.2 that isnt showing either on disc managment or BIOS. I think its not a computer issue but somehow I dont see it.
What kind of software will allow me to fix the m.2 if possible or is it gone forever? How do I know if the ssd is stable or not?

The other one that is giving me the problem is the -
850 EVO M.2 SATA III SSD MZ-N5E500
I installed the Samsung Magician Software thinking Id be able to see it in the system, but I dont.

That motherboard does not appear to have M.2 SATA ports.

Given the other drives in this system, totaling 3TB, what would this be used for?
In comparison, small and slow.

But yes, that adapter should work.
It still requires the SATA data connection to the motherboard.
