[SOLVED] M.2 Slots on B450-F Strix

Hi all,

I've had some issues with games for the longest time now and I've been getting tired of it so I'm trying to get to the bottom of it once more.

I will spare you the details but do you know if the location of the M.2 installation matters on this board?

M.2_1 slot supports nvme and sata devices
M.2_2 slot supports nvme devices only.

Just to make sure: when you say NVMe and SATA: by SATA you do mean regular M.2 SSDs - correct?

Since I am using an NVMe unit here, it should therefore not matter where I slot it (apart from the disabled SATA ports).

NVME drives like Samsung 970 Evo, XPG SX8200 Pro,
SATA M.2 drives like Samsung 860 Evo, Crucial Mx500.
All of them are regular M.2.

SATA drives can also be in 2.5" format. NVME drives - only in M.2 form factor.
