Traveled overseas and my PC wouldn't fit in my case. No biggie, just packed the components and got a new case

Have just put everything into a new and different case (had a Corsair 4000D airflow and now using the far inferior be quiet 500DX).

Had two drives. A 1tb M.2 SSD and a 4tb hdd. Windows was on the m.2.

When I boot I get a CPU error even though the CPU is reporting normally and the aio seems ok, and I have no bootable drives. BIOS finds both but treats the M.2 SSD as storage ?

The PC had been disassembled for about a week but nothing seemed to have been damaged in
transit.

CPU and memory reporting normally. Everything in the advanced section of the BIOS is set to auto.

Not sure what to do.

M.2 SSD is a Samsung 970 evo plus
Mobo is an Asus prime x570 pro.

Only changes are I put a different aio in and had installed a wireless card.

Any help much appreciated

It's the same motherboard? What is the CPU error you receive?
I doubt it'd be the issue, but I'd remove the wireless card until you can at least boot into windows.

You could try messing with secureboot/UEFI settings in BIOS.
Have you tried manually booting from the M.2 SSD via boot order/boot override?

The M.2 SSD only shows as storage. It doesn't show in Boot order. I just noticed the drivers seem to have rolled back to 2021 and a much earlier build so I'll try updating them.

Thank you for the response. I'll post any progress and if not I'll act on your post.
