I recently bought a Samsung 950 PRO M.2 NVMexpress SSD for my computer. I have an Asus Z97-AR motherboard currently. While I was looking around to try to discover what type of screw was necessary to install it since I do not have the one that came with the Motherboard anymore, I found some threads that alluded to certain types of M.2 drives working worse on certain boards, and that some BIOS versions do not run M.2 cards. My mobo has BIOS version 2012 on it. Can anyone help explain this to me so I can figure out if I need to return this drive and get a more traditional SATA drive instead? I initially thought it would be easier and simpler to use this drive, as well as allowing me to not have to add more wires inside my case. That no longer seems to be the case as I have gotten more confused each time I try to solve a problem or find information for this drive.
