Hello...
So my SSD is on it's last legs, and since my motherboard supports M.2 SSDs, I will get one of those since they are so much better from what I've heard. I've never gotten (or installed) one so to make sure I don't buy an incompatible one, I'd need someone to check and make sure.
I went to eBay and found that the Crucial P1 here is a good deal, but if anyone has something better i'll be happy to consider it. My motherboard is a Prime B350-Plus from ASUS.
I checked specs on the Crucial drive from here and from what I can tell, it's a type 2280. My motherboard, according to the spec supports type 2280 drives on PCie 3.0 mode if running on a Ryzen, which I do. It seems to me that it's all perfectly fine, but is it? I've seen that M.2 drives come in different sizes in terms width, would I still be alright? Is there something I'm missing is what I am basically asking.
Thank you!
