M.2 SSD Confusion

Can I use it in PCIe mode, or is it strictly SATA 3?

Thanks. I was afraid that was too good of a price for PCIe. Another question... If I find a M.2 SSD that is PCIe, is there anything out of the ordinary that my board requires?
