Question m.2 ssd doesn't boot

The main storage in my pc is a sata 3 nand ssd
Today i installed a m.2 ssd and my computer bios does recognize it in bios but when the computer boots up the only available storage is still just the sata 3 ssd. I don't know what the problem is

Can be multitude of problems:

compatibility problems,​

BIOS settings,​

missing drivers,​

missing OS updates,​

improper storage configuration.​

Start by listing full technical specs of your system. Also list OS version used.
