Hello folks,
Well, I'm planning to update my setup. I currently own a 3Tb HDD, a 120Gb SSD and a 240Gb SSD.
I will sell the two SSDs (they're old) and buy a new (single) one.
I was thinking that if I use a small (64Gb) M.2 memory for OS and primary software for fast boot and operations, and a larger sata SSD (512Gb or 1Tb) for games or softwares that require a greater disk performance and use the HDD for other files, softwares and backup.
At this point this seems a little overkill, but here comes the problem:
I wil start an engineering degree in some months and some software require a heck of a disck performance.
What do you guys think? Should I buy just a sata SSD or get also a M.2?
PS: I can't buy computer hardware every time that something turns obsolete, so this NEEDS to be future-proof.
