M.2 SSD in Desktop

Hello people,

I wanted to use my laptop's M.2 SSD in my desktop.
I was following instructions given in this thread - http://forum.asrock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1236

I tried by enabling CSM but it's not detecting SSD. Also I am not able to find Storage OpROM Policy option in bios. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks. I have provided links for my hardware.

That is a SATA M.2 SSD and you have a PCIe adapter card. This will never work.

You need to use the specific SATA slot on this card for it to work

You'll also need a SATA cable to plug in to it.

Yes you can.

You don't need CSM, this drive is not PCIe its SATA, it will be seen as any other SATA drive by your BIOS.
