M.2 SSD Issue

R3 1200
Patriot signature line 2400mhz
And a WD green m.2 SSD 120 gb 2280 , I tried to install windows on the ssd and use it as a boot drive but it’s onlu detected in the bios, I peanut show up in windows apart from the device manager , it doesn’t show up in disk management, I was hoping someone may know what’s wrong.

Try loading the drivers from the "SATA Floppy Image" during the install at the screen where you suppose to choose a drive.

Today I brought home a WD green 120gb m.2 2280 ssd, and it doesn't want to work with my pc, it shows up in the bios though, the specs are
asrock ab350m
ryzen 3 1200
patriot signature line ddr4 2400
and the ssd above, thanks

sorry, I didn't get a notification you answered, no it doesn't but it does in device manager

are you talking about the windows 10 installation screen? if so, no drives at all show there.

So it shows up in the bios, shows up in device manager and under "this pc" if I go to my c drive click properties, hardware, and it shows up there, no sign in disk manager though
