Question M.2 SSD keeps disappearing from UEFI on Gigabyte B360M DS3H

Jul 13, 2020
As the title says, my M.2 SSD keeps disappearing as a boot option. It's been doing this since I bought it as a boot drive for Windows 10. If I remove and re-insert the drive into the M.2 slot it will show up again, but to do that I have to remove the GPU.

I'm using a Gigabyte B360M DS3H motherboard and a Kingston A2000 250GB M.2 SSD. I already made sure the SATA channels aren't overlapping, so that isn't the issue.

I've been researching this topic for days and it seems that Gigabyte boards overall have problems with M.2 drives.
