[SOLVED] m.2 ssd not showing in partions

i just recently bought a crucial mx500 m.2 ssd for my laptop (alienware m15 r2) and installed it into my laptop. i go check the partitions and it is not showing would anyone have an idea as to how i could fix it?

i have tried updating the bios but it didnt do anything

Please note the following:

NOTE: Before replacing the M.2 card take note that there are two M.2 card slots present on your computer, for:

• the left card slot PCIe, NVMe and SATA AHCI cards are supported.
• the right card slot only PCIe, NVMe cards are supported.
