Question M.2 SSD not showing up in bios

MB is an Asus Prime H370-Plus with a samsung nvme 960 evo m.2 ssd. I've tried both slots on the mother board but it hasn't showed up while in the bios. Any recommendations on what to do?

Looking in the BIOS, I can only find "m.2_1 configuration" under advanced\onboard devices configuration, I have it set to auto. I forgot to mention that I'm trying to install windows onto it.

If it no show in bios try setting the bios M 2 switch to another setting.

I've tried each setting and haven't gotten a result. If this doesnt work do I have to resort to using an HDD?

Last thing is to install/reflash the latest bios. Look for the latest on the asus website and use Ezflash 3 with a usb drive.There is a chance that will work to allow the bios to see the drive. If you already have the latest then it is time to return the drive for a replacement.

just tried this and still isnt working. thank you for the help! going to figure out how to return it now.
