M.2 ssd question

Hi folks,
Installing M.2 ssd on a MSI Z97S SLI Plus board the workbook indicates SATA Express will be disabled. What other devices use SATA Express and will this be a problem? Thanks

As of now, none uses SATA express yet that is useful.
