I’m upgrading from Ryzen 5 3600 to Ryzen 5 5600X

My MOBO is MSI B450 gaming pro Carbon AC
I updated my BIOS to 9/1/2022 while the 3600 was installed using a USB drive
My windows 10 is installed on a 1TB M.2SSD and worked fine last night with the new bios and the 3600 installed
When I start the PC with the 5600X installed it goes straight to BIOS and recognises the m.2 under system status but in the boot menu it is locked to UEFI and there is no M.2 option
I have no other storage connected

which BIOS version did you install? The latest is 1F7

You can try using ADVANCED MODE in BIOS by pressing F7 and try selecting your Boot device there under BOOT options/priority

UEFI should be correct, you usually don´t need the m.2 option if windows is already installed. I would freshly reinstall windows with the new CPU.
