Question M.2 ssd upgrade ?

I have a 3 year old system that I built and the main ssd is a Samsung - 850 EVO-Series 500 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
I was wondering if a new Samsung 970 EVO Plus Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 would speed up my system and if its worth the upgrade. I'm a non-gamer. The other specs are Intel - Core i5-6600K Gigabyte - GA-Z170X-Gaming 5 ATX LGA1151 Crucial - 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2133 Memory XFX - Radeon R7 360 2 GB Core Edition Video Card Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO

What DO you use the system for?

The benefit of an NVMe drive is not nearly as great as the raw numbers make it appear to be.

HDD-> SATA SSD = huge increase
SATA III SSD -> NVMe = not so much.

yes they are lil bit faster , like on my computer i use a plextor m2 with 1tb and before i trun it on the windows 10 screen is there .

If you move files, extract files, compress files alot then do it otherwise there is not much improvement. Programs Will not load faster maby by 0,07 seconds.
