Question M.2 SSD Will get hot?

I just bought a 256gb M.2 SSD (Kingmax 2280), would this SSD hot if I Only use this drive for the Operating system and Internet browsing only?

They worm up only under prolonged writing of large files. Even if they heat up too high it will just throttle the speed.

What model Kingmax drive?
2280 is not a model name, just drive dimensions 22mm x 80mm.

Sata and PCIE 3.0 drives usually don't heat up too much.
PCIE 4.0 and PCIE 5.0 are significantly warmer. Heatsinks are recommended.

Yes compatible.
For full speed install it in upper M2_1 slot.
In lower M2_2 slot it will work in PCIE 3.0 x2 mode (half bandwidth).
