Hi all,

I want to buy a Gigabyte motherboard, I'm considering one of the following:
Z490 AORUS MASTER
Z490 AORUS ULTRA G2
Z490 AORUS ELITE AC

I plan on using SSD drive connected via M.2 slot, the thing is that in the spec they specify different types of M.2 interfaces, can anyone tell me the difference between:
M2P_SB, M2A_CPU, M2M_SB and M2A_SB

Thanks

  1. 1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2P_SB)
  2. 1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2A_CPU)
  3. 1 x M.2 connector (Socket 3, M key, type 2242/2260/2280/22110 SATA and PCIe x4/x2 SSD support) (M2M_SB)
really only 2 type. sata or pcie/nvme m.2
