My PC was working just fine until out of the blue i got a message saying there was and error and my PC needed a restart. When I restarted my PC it booted directly into BIOS and I wasn’t able to boot out of it. It turns out my m2 drive is no longer identified as connected or as a bootable device. I removed the drive and placed it in the secondary m2 drive slot and it was identified then but as soon as I tried to boot out of BIOS i was sent right back in with my drive no longer being Identified. i switched it around a few times and each time it did the exact same thing. I have watched multiple youtube videos and gone through countless threads on different forums and have tried to change nearly every setting in my BIOS. I even flashed my BIOS back to a previous version that I knew worked before, which is very risky but at this point I just want to be able to use my PC, even if it means getting a new m2 drive.

Currently I have a Silicon Power 1tb m2 ssd and my motherboard is the Gigabyte Aorus Pro AC running BIOS version F15. I have tried booting with secure boot, CSM support, fast boot and none of these work. I don’t think my drive is the issue here as it can be identified briefly. I believe it is a BIOS issue or some BIOS setting but i’m way out of my area here and i have never seen or heard of anything like this. I recently did a fresh install of windows and although I would rather not do another one, it wouldn’t be the end of the world. I am confused as to why it just happened so randomly as one second it was working just fine, the next it just decides to be a pain in my ass. I probably won’t be able to respond for a few hours as I will be going to bed shortly but any help is appreciated.

unfortunately, your ssd is dead
You sure? i mean at this point I’m willing to get a new ssd but i have had an ssd die before and it wasn’t like this. plus my ssd is still identifiable which wasn’t the case for my previous ssd that died. but hey again i’m out of my area here. I just want to be 100% sure before I buy another ssd
