Hello,

I am in search of a high-performance NVMe m.2 to PCIe 4 16x or U2 to PCIe4 16x expansion card. The adapter must be suitable for continuous operation in a data center and be able to accommodate up to 4 NVMes without presenting a bottleneck.

I've found some seemingly good ones from Asus, ASRock, and Gigabyte, but I'm not certain if they're suitable for server use.

For example:

Gigabyte AORUS Gen4 AIC Adaptor - https://www.gigabyte.com/de/SSD/AORUS-Gen4-AIC-Adaptor#kf

ASRock Hyper Quad M.2 Card - https://www.asrock.com/mb/spec/product.asp?Model=HYPER QUAD M.2 CARD

ASUS Hyper M.2 x16 Gen 4 Card - https://www.asus.com/motherboards-components/motherboards/accessories/hyper-m-2-x16-gen-4-card/

What bothers me about the Gigabyte is that there seems to be a limitation of 15,000MB/s. PCIe 4 on 16 lanes should actually handle more.

The other two from AsRock and Asus would fit the specifications well, but I'm not sure if they're suitable for continuous use.

What do you use and what would you recommend?

Best regards, Volrath

4 NVmes would reach higher troughoutput

for example 4x 4000MBs Writespeed = 16.000
or 4x 6000MBs Readspeed = 24000
