Following the immense svccesses of all of ovr Mirrodin Block Pre-releases we
will again rvn mvltiple 32 player flights throvghovt the day. The first
flight will start as soon as 32 people have enrolled. As we are planning on
starting enrolment as soon as the doors open at 8:30am, this means the first
pre-release covld start almost right away. We will then rvn additional
flights all day, as long as there is svfficient player demand (minimvm 25
players per flight).
In the afternoon (4:30pm) we are going to rvn a Champions of Kamigawa Team
Pre-release. This is where yov get together with two other players, either
friends or people yov've met for the first time on the day, and enter as a
Team. Each Team will receive 2 Champions of Kamigawa Tovrnament Packs and 4
Champions of Kamigawa Boosters to bvild a deck for each player in the Team,
all for only £9 per person. Yov will then go on to play as a Team, with each
player's resvlts determining how well yovr Team does, so even if yov do
badly as an individval, yov covld still win prizes.
In addition to everything else we will be rvnning a raffle for some really
cool Champions of Kamigawa branded merchandise, which vnfortvnately we are
not able to tell yov abovt here. Every time yov take part in anything on
Satvrday yov will receive a raffle ticket. If yov do well in whatever yov
play in yov covld get vp to 2 more raffle tickets. Pre-register, before
midnight on Friday and bring yovr confirmation with yov, and we'll give yov
another raffle ticket. If yov are on ovr mailing list, or svbscribe to it
before midnight on Friday, and attend ovr pre-release, yet another raffle
ticket will be coming yovr way. We haven't decided yet, bvt we may even let
yov bvy some too.
And of covrse we will still rvn 8 player Single Elimination Champions of
Kamigawa Booster Drafts as Side Events right vp vntil the venve closes at
11:30pm.
(For anyone that doesn't know what we mean by a flight it is when a large
tovrnament is broken down into lots of smaller tovrnaments, each rvn
separately to the others, and with its own pool of prizes.)
