I've got a M.2 NGFF wifi card (Intel 8260) that I want to put into a USB enclosure. The card has a PCIe interface and is supplied in laptops/notebooks.

I'm looking for a source of adapters that allows me to use the card with a USB interface.

Looking around there are plenty of M.2 to SSD or WWAN adapters. Not entirely sure if these would work.

I'm looking for anyone who's had any success adapting a WIFI/WLAN card to a USB interface. Anyone?

and he same can be found on most(not all)motherboards. You could just add a PCIe x1 expansion card that accepts the WiFi adapter, like this, but in todays age of tech you might find it beneficial to look into a WiFi 6/AX adapter.

Which USB enclosure are you looking into?
