I recently bought myself a Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 1TB to run my games overall faster.
I tried installing it today and I've had no luck so far. When I go into my BIOS it shows up in the boot options but nothing happens.
I have Windows 10 already installed on an SSD and don't wish to reinstall it on the M.2, just to use it as storage. When I boot windows up the M.2 doesn't show up in Device & Drivers or in "This PC".
I've read online that there should be an option in Asus BIOS named Onboard Configuration and to enable M.2 Mode but it doesn't show up for me. I've also tried playing around with CSM and safe boot and stuff but no luck there.
My MOBO is an Asus Prime B450M-A.
Any help is appreciated.

Solution
Yes that would be your new drive. You can create a new volume, and format partitions, in disk management, and then windows will see the drive. I am not aware of any M.2 mode switch, within a bios.
