Hello friends a question:
I have a Z270-HD3 Gigabyte motherboard. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-Z270-HD3-rev-10/sp#sp
I want it to work something faster, currently it uses 1 HDD SEAGATE 1TB hard disk, with Windows 10 64bits operating system and office programs.
My question is if I add this disk and put the operating system on this device.
SSD HP EX900 Pro M.2, 256GB, PCIe Gen3.0 x4 NVMe 1.3
9XL75AA#ABL

will this device be compatible with this motherboard ?. (I was looking in the manual and did not find a direct reference)

Solution
If I use this for the OS and programs, I guess it will be faster compared to a ssd pci express or sata ssd disk?
'Faster' than a SATA III SSD.
Much faster than an HDD.

But...once we've moved beyond the HDD realm, the user facing differences between various levels of SSD are minimal, often invisible.
