Hi, I have a ASUS B450-PLUS Motherboard with a Ryzen 3800x CPU

I have purchased and installed an M.2 SSD (Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe m.2 )
  • M.2 PCIe Gen3 x 4 Interface.
  • PCIe 3.1 Compliant / NVMe 1.3 Compliant.
My BIOS and Windows disk management does not detect the drive.

I have noticed in the mobo manual it says

AMD Ryzen 2nd Generation/ Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics/ Ryzen 1st Generations processors - 1 x M.2 socket 3 with M key, Type 2242/2260/2280/22110 (PCIe 3.0 x4 and SATA modes)

Does this mean it is not supported?

Sorry i deleted my reply. But in theory it should work because my 970 on my motherboard is also installed in the slot the same as yours which is PCIe 3.0x4. Do you have any other drives connected to the motherboard?

Yeah I have a Hard drive and SSD, the SSD has windows on plugged into SATA 1 and SATA 2 ports so definitely not interfering with anything according to the motherboard manual, not sure if the M2 may be bad
