Question M2a slot doesn't work on Gigabyte B550m ds3h

I have tried literally everything but still no luck. Raid csm secure boot x8 on graphics card update drivers update bios idk what else to do. Any suggestions?
My pc specs
Ryzen 5500
Gigabyte b550m ds3h
Asrock rx 6600
G skill 2x8gb
Adata Swordfish nvme g3 x4 500gb
Patriot P300 nvme g3 x4 512gb
The nvme ssds work normally on the 2nd slot but are not even detected from the bios on the first slot. The build is relatively new. Around 2 months old.

It might be a dead slot. I have had it happen before, on an MSI B550 board. Have you tried a CMOS reset.
