I need to overclock my cpu from 2.8 to 3.0 simply to meet requirements for a game. Sadly my bios does not allow me overclock and at the phoenix website it requires me to pay to update my bios. I really wish to overclock my pc but i've spent hours looking for how to do so. i'm willing to do just about anything besides pay for a bios update since i find that ridiculous.

So I just looked at the m2n68-la motherboard and from what I looked at, I'm sorry to say that unless you can possibly find the bios update from HP or phoenix as they both have support for it. You won't UNLESS you download a driver detective/genius etc basically a program which detects all out of data drivers in your system and allows you to download and install them... you'll be surprised of how many you have on your system and it most likely will find the bios update aha :)

Also keep in mind that system requirements are there for a reason and performance may be unplayable even if you even get it to run.

Don't pay for a solution because your motherboard itself isn't worth anything.
If you were going to pay for anything just buy a cheap system which could handle future games.

Next time it would help for more info but I hope I helped :)

i did the auto-detection as you said before this and they all take me to phoenix site to pay for it. i basically gave up on this deciding only real solution is buying new motherboard and cpu. and not sure what other information you need or want but if it'll help i can give you anything you need. Thank you very much for your response and taking your time to answer this 😀.
