M2N68-LA System Fan Failure - Shuts Down Computer Within 5 Seconds

Hi all!

I have an M2N68-LA motherboard which has a CPU fan error come up during boot.

The fans all work fine, however I cannot get into the BIOS to turn off the hardware monitoring because it just shuts down after a few seconds which is no where near enough time to load the bios and get to the hardware monitor.

Are there any bypass methods I can use to prevent the system shutting down? I need around 60 seconds to change the settings in the bios so I can boot into Windows.

Any help is appreciated.

Make sure the CPU fan is connected to the CPU fan header. You don't want to connect it anywhere else for power.

If that doesn't work, I would clear the CMOS and try again.
