It seems strange that the only ram my board/processor supports in an 8gb size is not for sale anywhere. Anyone know how to buy the 8GB 1600 M378B1G73AHO by Samsung?

ya, that's the only ram on the list of known working 8GB ram that works for the gigabyte 990FXA-UD7 (also) it lists here http://www.buysamsungparts.com/m378b1g73ah0-ch9.html

currently going for $163 each if you find others that work for your board that are 8GB each plz post them.

I've been using Kingston's KVR13N9K2/16 16GB Kit (2x8GB) - DDR3 1333MHz times two for 32GB in a 990FXA-UD5 (currently running Solaris 11.1) for about a month now without any problems.
