I have updated to BIOS 1604 as sugested by asus on a m3n78-vm. still clock at DDR2 800 not 1066. System is Win7, Asus m3n78-vm, kingston khx8500d2t1k2/4g on slot a1 and a2 dule channel, cpu AMD Phenomx4 965, galaxy GeForce GTX460, 750w pwr, 3 sata drives, defult bios settings. What can I do to make this run at 1066mhz pc8500 ? Should it run single channel, Up the voltage (1.8 -2.2)? I have googled this to death and cant find a clear awnser to what might work. Might I be better off to leave it alone and add my old corsair 800mhz to gang with the kingston for 8gig total at 5-5-5-? Or 4gig dule channel 5-5-5-18 at 800 with kingston alone? Help anyone?

One last thought. I saw somewhere in the fourm that ganged memory is slower than dule channel. Is this true? Is their no benifit to ganging my old corsair xms 800 with new kingston for total of 8 gig ganged.
