M4N98TD EVO SATA 5 Not working

Hello all, my SATA 5 port on the motherboard does not seem to be working no matter what I plug into it (DVD Drive/HDD etc). The only thing that is different compared to the other ports is the fact that I have to use the angled end of the SATA cable to get past my second graphics card, do they have to be plugged in the other way?...If I can't use the angled end I won't be able to use the port so it's not even worth me trying it the other way around. Thanks.

Angled straight does not matter they are the same! If it is not working and no controller that you have to activate in BIOS then I would RMA.
