M5 A97 R2.0 motherboard with 970 evo samsung ssd?

At the moment i have M5 A97 r2.0 Asus mother board. I recently bought the 970 evo 500GB samsung ssd. Is it gonna work? If not what motherboard do i need if i have:
Processor- AMD FX(tm)-8350 8core
Gpu-Gigabyte Geforce GTX 960
HDD
SSD(sata)
SSD(970 evo 500GB)

I'm not seeing where that MB can take an M2 drive...so I don't think it's going to work.
I'm seeing it can only take normal SATA drives.

No, it's not going to work. That board is best served with a standard SATA SSD.

You will needs a new board , cpu and DDR4 memory.
