[SOLVED] M5A97 R 2.0 won't boot

Hello guys, I need your help.

Today I have bought a new case for my PC and I tried to move my PC into the new case. Unplugged everything, dismantled, reinstalled in the new case and PC won't boot.
I tried:

• dismantling everything again, put the mainboard on a piece of wood, plugged in only CPU/Video --> nothing
• connected memories --> nothing
• disconnected everything --> nothing
• changed power cords around --> nothing

No beep, no sound error, nothing. It's like power is not entering, but the power led is ON and green.

The mainboard is powered, because the green light is ON (see picture). Pressing the reset bios button on the mainboard works, I saw it reset the bios. Pressing the memtest does nothing. Pressing the instant power-up from mainboard does not work. I don't understand what part is causing this fault because until today it was working fine.
When I dismantled and reinstalled everything I didn't' hit anything, nothing smelled as burned, no sparks, it shouldn't be anything burned or short circuit.

Mainboard: M5A97 R 2.0
CPU is: 8350 AMD
RAM: 12 GB DDR3 (but I tried putting only 1 bar, 2, 3, nothing)
VGA: 1600 GTX
PSU: 750W Cooler Master

I really don't know what to do! Please, any help is welcomed

How are you triggering the motherboard to turn on?

I'll bet you have the front panel connections to the motherboard wrong. Remove them ALL and jump the two pwr pins using a flat tipped screwdriver.

Do you have power connected to your GTX 1060, assuming it IS a GTX 1060 since your post says 1600 GTX?

Hello. Well I am trying to power it using the old case power button (1) and directly by pressing the direct key button on the main board. It is impossible to mix the buttons because they are on a support. Short circuit with a screwdriver does nothing.
Video card gtx 1600 is powered with the cable.
But it should do somtthing a beep or something if a part is not working

I tried the short circuit thing to test the psu if it starts up and the fan works. So it's not the psu.
So now remains main board or CPU. But I didn't dismantle the CPU, it was moved with the fan already assembled so it couldn't be the CPU. Also the main board led is green so it is powered. Very strange

Well, I'll tell you one thing for sure. You have that single stick of memory in the wrong slot. It SHOULD be installed in the blue slot closest to the CPU. And if you install two DIMMs, then they should be in the two blue DIMM slots.

That alone however isn't going to make it not start, but keep it in mind for when you do get it running. Those are the recommended slots for all two DIMM dual channel motherboard population configurations.

Just because the PSU fan comes on, does not mean the PSU is good. It just means it's not completely dead.

Guys, mark it as SOLVED.
I changed the UPS and it now works. It was the PSU. I don't know why it failed to work when I changed the chasis, it didn't make any sparks or anything. No clue why it failed.
