Hi! I'm planning to overclock FX-6300 to 4.1 ghz increasing multiplier only. Can i perform this without damaging Motherboard and with stock cooler? I don't plan to increase voltage.
PS: I know that is 4+2 power phase mobo but has heatsink on it.
Please respond! Thanks :)

It can be done, but not with the stock cooler, id buy a 3rd party cooler, to overclock, as even changing the multiplier will push temps up higher. Any overclock will put additional strain on the boards VRMs, so it will shorten the lifespan a bit.
