My system has been stable for over 3 years and after I reinstalled Windows 10 i now cant do any thing that requires intensive CPU or GPU loads or the screen will just freeze no BSOD, no black screen, no restart, just a frozen screen of whatever was being displayed last.
here is what i have tested so far,
-memtest86+ over 10 passes (15 hours)
-3D mark - works randomly some times crashes instantly or will complete (completely random)
-chkdsk - shows no errors
-P95 - ran for an hour last night with no problem now crashes in 20 mins
-Temperature shows well with in a good range of 40-50c across the board on all components.
here is my system
-ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
-AMD FX 8350
-ASUS R9270x
-8 GB DDR3
-750W PSU
-1TB HDD
All defaults are loaded in bios as well as most up to date drivers. What i want to know is, How can i tell if this is a power/voltage problem?
I really don't want to have to start buying new components because this system has been stable for so long and I'am not really interested in spending more money, especially if this can be fixed. Also i have been creeping here for the last month trying to figure this out before i decided to post.
