MA770-UD3 onboard microphone slot stoped working

Hey I bought a GA-MA770-UD3 motherboard about 1 week ago and now the microphone slot has stopped working. I just wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything before I go out and buy a sound card. It was working fine yesterday night, I turned the computer off and then this morning when I booted it back up the microphone doesn't work. I am using Windows Vista Ultimate x64. I have tried 2 different 2 headsets and a system restore, but nothing has worked yet. The microphone is not muted or anything like that. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tested the microphone by using it with another system?

It's less likely to have gone bad than your new motherboard, but I would check it before getting a new sound card.

yes i test is another pc.i think my spkr port working bt mic port not working so need to find drivers for it
