Mac and PC audio through one headset?

I have a macbook pro that I work on daily for school and iOS development. I also have my PC that is for gaming, entertainment, and other needs. I want to find a way to have audio from both devices into one headset. If I need to get a mixer I will but I wonder if anyone who is familiar with this has a solution.

Also I run discord off my PC so I still want to be able to have my mic working through that. My first thought was to look for a headset that has a usb connection and a 3.5mm connection as well that I could use at the same time.

Apple and PCs use different audio connections (pinouts).

Once you understand the existing connections then you can focus on identifying an adapter to facilty switching devices.
