MAC Book A1181 won't turn on after replacing screen

I replaced my cracked screen on my MAC Book A1181 and now it does not turn on. The green light on power cord is on, but the white sleep light does not come on. The battery does charge. Pushing the power button and unplugging several times didn't work. There is no sound that anything is running, i.e. fan etc. How can I trouble shoot to figure out what's wrong?

It sounds like you accidentally unplugged the power button motherboard/cables when you replaced the screen. I believe that the screen and the power button are on the same board. I would verify that the cables from the power button and the chip everything connects to is not disconnected.
