Mac can't see/access Win 7's on same network. HELP!

Hello all,

I have a small office network with six PC's running Win 7. All can access the server's drive without problem.

I just brought in a Mac (OS 10.6.8) to replace the oldest PC. It can connect to the internet, it can also access the router setup page. But it can't see server! I'm sure what's holding me back is something I just don't know but I can't find anything online to help me.

Any help would be appreciated!

It's been a while since I have played with Mac, but here is a support article on Apple site about that. Not the prettiest solution, I must admit, but that's the price to go with MacOs.
